I had two copies of v5 XT that came with OWC boxes that I bought late last year. One of them is hooked up to an M1 Mac running 11.3 and I upgraded one license (for free) to v6 XT.

My other license is on an Intel Mac running 10.15 and v5 XT. I understand that the free upgrade is limited in time, but I will eventually move my Intel Mac to Big Sur. If I upgrade my other license from v5 XT to v6 XT will the v5 license still work while I remain on 10.15 and than when I move to Big Sur I can also move to SoftRAID v6 XT?

I'd like to do the v5 to v6 upgrade while it is still free but keep using v5.8.4 on my Intel Mac until I move to macOS 11.

Thanks. I have upgraded both v5XT licenses to v6XT now. I'll keep using v6XT on the M1 ('cause that is the only version that works) and keep using v5XT on my old license until I move my Intel Mac to Big Sur.
