I'm running into a persistent "internal error" while trying to create a volume. Softraid 8.3, macOS 15.3, OWC 4M2.

I haven't restarted the computer yet because I'd like to collect as much information as possible before "fixing" the problem. Support file attached.

Quit SoftRAID.

Manually unmount your volume.

Launch SoftRAID and you should be able to create a new volume. I think some process is keeping your volume from unmounting.

I was trying to create a new volume, so there was nothing to unmount. I wasn't able to create a new volume until I restarted my Mac; however, I'm now running into the same problem when trying to delete a volume: Internal error, and SoftRAID exits. The volume is not mounted.

Please attach a support file, so I can check what is happening. this error happens when a disk is "busy" (generally meaning one or more of the disks has a volume that is "open")
