Hi there,
I'm about to upgrade my Express 4M2 from 2 drives to 4, all of the same type and size. In the process I wish to convert from RAID0 with 2 drives to RAID4 with 4 drives. I can see that I can complete this upgrade with 3 drives but will I be able to add in the fourth drive somehow? Or do I need to build a new RAID4 and copy all the data back onto the 4M2 from the backup?
Cheers,
Patrick.

We do not have a way to add two disks. Just backup and create a new volume.

Is it possible to convert RAID 0 to RAID 4 first, then add drives later? so, add one or two drives to RAID 0, then convert to RAID 4?

Sorry no. We do not support adding disks to a volume to increase capacity. That requires re-arranging all data on the volume.
