Hello,
I have a Fortis 5C 5-Bay USB-C External Drive configured in a RAID 0 with data that will not mount. I can see the physical disks listed, and the volume shows all 5 disks as connected but simply states the volume is not mounted. Does anyone know how to get the volume re-mounted without loss of data?
Thank-You
There are few volume directory utilities for Windows, unfortunately. One you can investigate if you don't mind command line interfaces, is DM Disk Editor (DMDE).
Else you need to use a data recovery app. the two I have tested are R-Studio (probably best on Windows) and Disk Drill. There are a couple more, but not that I have tested. the main problem with some of these utilities is they are very slow to scan and then copy the data off. That is why R-Studio shines.
Good luck!
