Hi, I'm planning to update my two hard drives (3 TB each) that are used in Raid 1. I use Softraid Lite and I wanted to bring them up to 5 TB (or 4 TB).

Is there a way to do this automatically? That is, can Softraid Lite, if I insert n.1 5 TB hard drive copy the 3 TB one and then dock to the other 5 TB one?

Sorry, I'm not very good at this and I would like to figure out how to move before doing some nonsense (or should I first activate Raid 1 with the two empty disks and then copy the files inside?)
Thanks

This should not be hard!

I recommend certify disk on your new disks before using them.

Physically remove and then insert the new disk.
Initialize the new disk.
Select your volume and "Add secondary disk"
Let it rebuild.
"Set Primary" and set the new disk as Primary.
Remove the remaining old disk and insert the new
Initialize that disk and "Add secondary disk"

When the rebuild is complete, "remove missing secondary disks.

Last step is "resize volume" and make your volume max size, which will use the entire disks.

Last, because you need to have replaced the disks first.
