Just like the subject says. Using SoftRAID 5.5.5 with Sierra 10.12.1. I have 3 internal SATA SSDs in a RAID 0 setup, and the volume is showing as an external RAID volume, which is annoying since it can accidentally be ejected from the Finder (showing the eject button next to the finder).

Not booting of coarse from this volume. How can it be changed to internal so that it can't accidentally be ejected?

Thanks!

This is a long standing Finder bug. Apple has declined to fix this since 10.2.

Hi,

I am "suffering" from the same "issue" on macOS 10.13.6

Still no fix in sight?

I do not think Apple is going to fix this problem.
