Just wondering why I get this message? I paid many thousands of $ for Hardware and it was nowhere stated that I also would need to pay yearly fee for the Software needed to run the hardware
the last unit I purchased 30.11.22 So I should have quite a bit "Warranty" left as I purchased previous units I did change my serial number so I guess I just need to change my serial over?
ok, so I tried to enter the Licence printed on my second Thunderbay as that was only purchased last year but can't get past the first 6 letters numbers and it wont accept the rest of licence please advise

If you purchased your enclosure with drives, it has a 3 year warranty and support + upgrade plan. If a 0GB, then a one year.
Go here to check your license and upgrade, its possible you have a SoftRAID 6 license on it.

Going forward, we do not need to change serial numbers as you upgrade SoftRAID, it is all managed within the application.
