SoftRAID Read Disk Error

Hello,

I recently upgraded to Ventura with SoftRAID Version 6.XX not knowing it was not yet compatible with Ventura. I kept getting the attached error messages but the drive was still accessible. Since then i have upgraded to version 7.0 of SoftRAID but am now getting these same messages and the drive eventually fails and crashes my Macbook Pro M1.

Is there a fix for this or some way to get the disk to repair itself? I am really not too versed in how this functions so any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

ll you should need to do is clear the io errors, (utilities menu) and that will take care of this.

A disk may have temporarily hung, is all that happened.

@softraid-support I am still having these issues and clearing the IO errors makes the errors go away for about a minute but then the drives eventually fail and disappear. Attaching support ticket and SoftRAID log but essentially the same thing is still happening.

Running Ventura 13.4

Please advise on how to repair this as these are working drives that are needed daily.

@danibutler

Can you save a support file and attach it again? with the drives connected and showing in SoftRAID?

@danibutler

You have had these drives for a while. What if you "certify" them? Back up your data, then certify disk. After that, create your volume again and see if it gives you any problems after that.

Did you run any "clean my Mac" kind of apps to trigger the Monitor failed issue? I assume if you launch twice, it does not work still? If you run 7.0, does that work?
downloads.owc.com/softraid/mac/archives/SoftRAID+7.0.dmg

Do not install the driver, cancel, but see if this app version works?
