Volume of 4x8Tb SSD drives RAID 4 24Tb all working well - no errors. Connected to Mac m1 Studio Ultra maxed out config.

Drive enclosure is the OWC ThunderBlade connected with Thunderbolt 4 cable

When I launch SoftRaid XT v7.01 and right click the Thunderbolt Volume (marked up as no errors) and select Validate, I get an error "Volume not Supported" XT license only allows disks in select OWC enclosures

When will this enclosure be included in the supported volumes / will you provide a pro license in the mean time free of charge so I can have full functionality - having purchased a very expensive top range drive from you.

Thanks for help

@Graz0

This is strange. Please attach a SoftRAID tech support file, so I can look at this. There is a problem, of course.

@graz0

I am researching this. It appears you have this direct connected, also. So I do not see what is going on yet.

"I assume you cannot do things like "verify disk", or "Disable Safeguard", change "volume Optimization"? correct?

XT supports this enclosure. I have the warehouse pulling a unit to test this 32GB unit on a Studio.

The other functions you mention seem unaffected - can run them ok....

Booted into safe mode then a normal restart and now I can perform a verify - odd glitch it seems. If it happens gain I will post again. Can only assume there is something in the install routine?

Good news is that there are no errors reported running both Verify and the Validate functions. All working as intended.

Thanks Graham

@graz0

We are investigating anyway. It may have something to do with the Ultra.
