Hi! I'd like to establish some baselines numbers so I'd like to ask:

What is the absolute verified fastest raid 5 write performance that has been seen with any hardware on a windows system and what hardware was it using?

@nanashi

Here is an example. Its very CPU and hardware reliant.

Intel(R) Core(TM) Ultra 7 265K, 3900 Mhz, 20 Core

Installed on a ROG Maximus Z890 Extreme motherboard with 64GB of installed RAM
This is RAID 5, with 64K Stripe unit size, and the OWC X12 enclosure (12 NVMe blades)

3700 Writes and 5,000 Reads.

Thanks for the info but I am unable to view the image. I'm getting "You are not permitted to view this attachment"

Is there something I need to do do to my account to see it? I attached a screenshot of the error but it actually shows up as a broken image link to me. Maybe I don't have any kind of image permissions at all or something?

@nanashi

Let me see if we can tweak settings. We "hid" the SoftRAID support files for user privacy, but it had the unintended effect of not allowing any images to be displayed either.
the image I posted shows AJA System Test, with writes of 3679MB/s and Reads of 5210MB/s. This is the max we have ever seen on RAID 5 on Windows. Shows the potential of the driver, but Windows systems are extremely difficult to (generically) optimize for, there are many potential bottlenecks, etc.
