Hello all!
I just got my Thunderbay, and installed the latest SoftRAID, and then started to copy over files from my other external RAID system. It worked fine until I ran into the csrutil issue, so turned that off, and seemed to be off to the races. I have also disabled write caching as well.
What is happening now is that I am still having by copy "stop" or "freeze" and the only way I can get back to the Finder is to turn the machine off and on. When this happens, I see inside SoftRAID, that it shows anywhere from 1-3 drives are missing. When I reboot, they disks are returned.
I have 4 - 4tb Hitachi drives, all new, and certified. I have tried a new cable as well, and still can't get a 500gb folder to copy from one drive to the other. This is a fully repeatable issue, and I can't seem to get around it.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks!
bill

Thanks for the quick reply. I am running 10.15.4 on an iMac pro, and I have also done the nvram trick AND disabled write caching.
Any other ideas?
Thanks

Send a SoftRAID support file to support at softraid.
I can take a look, I don't think I can resolve this on the forum.
