Hello -
Very new to this entire thing. I'm trying to create a RAID 5 on my Netstor NA622TB3. I'm using 4, 2TB Sabrent Rocket Q NVMe drives.
Using SoftRAID, it sees the four drives, and can put them into a RAID successfully. I've been able to put them in many configurations including 0, 1, 1+0 and 5.
The problem, I believe lies with my Mac. I cannot get the RAID to mount. When I right click on the Volume and click "Mount" it does nothing.
I understand I can use Apple's Disk Utility to make a RAID 0 or RAID 1, but really would like a RAID 5.
My Mac Mini is running Catalina 10.15.4. I found this thread but it doesn't address the issue of Catalina. https://srforums.wpengine.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=1109
I appreciate any help!
Ada,
Here is the solution:

if your Mac has a T2 chip, then you need to disable Secure Boot also:
