I downloaded the trial version of the SoftRAID application version 8.0.0.67. I'm trying to create a RAID 1+0 with 4 NVMe drives and the option for RAID 1+0 is missing from the list. How do I create this volume when it is not an option?

We do not have RAID 1+0 available in Windows. It is coming relatively soon, we expect the next update.

Ok Thanks for letting us know. Do you have an estimated date when the next update will be released?

I cannot announce dates, sorry. Plus any date could be fluid, depending on progress. But it is not very far away. this year 100%.

We have decided to purchase a seat of this anyways due to the monitoring features. We also decided to go with a RAID 1 and do hourly backups with our Veeam Enterprise software. That should give us the redundancies we need should a failure occur. Thanks for your help, we greatly appreciate it.

Great! Let me know how we can assist. Full email notifications are coming to Windows also, in that same release.

Monitoring is automatic. email notification (in addition) is coming soon.

If you get a SMART failure, predicted failure, lose a disk, etc, you will get alerts on the user level. Is that what you mean?

Who sits in front of a server to monitor failures? email is a true monitoring of this type. So I just wasted our companies money on something that doesn't really monitor. Until your development team releases the next update with the actual monitoring feature, does the software at least create some type of a file on the computer when a failure has been detected? Then I can create a script to watch for that file to exist so I can have it email me when a failure happens? We have to have something, because our people and myself do not watch/babysit servers unless there is an issue, we use our time more productively.
