Can you delete download? Make sure you unmount the other volumes on this set of disks, DL R5. that may help.
Deleted, Now another issue the "flash drivecar HD" is missing a disk & all the disks are showing.
And why are HD.1 WDe & HD.2 WDe showing as SSD when they are HDD.
Attach another support file please.
On USB, we cannot usually talk directly to the hardware. So we use a probe to see how fast drives respond, if they appear to be a SSD or HDD. Maybe the drives have some extra RAM cache and SoftRAID thinks they are SSD. I will have to inquire about this. It will not affect functionality, however.
Interesting. There is a problem somewhere, I need to try to reproduce this.
Make sure both volumes are backed up (just in case), then "add disk" should work. I will take a deeper dive off line on this.
@softraid-support could you please stitch "Flash sidecar HD" back together?
Because of what happened, make sure your backups are current, but you can just select the volume tile, select "Add disk", and let it rebuild. Should not be a problem.
That would work, however, HD.2 WDe 2T already has it partitioned (which can't be deleted) & selecting add drive does not avail HD.2.
When I tested this using your support file, the disk shows up in Add disk.
Are you getting an error? or is it not showing up on your system?
@softraid-support HD.2 already has a partition dedicated to it, but not showing up as available.
@softraid-support That is exactly what it shows, HOWEVER!:
1. "HD.2 WDe 2T" shows the same space available as when it was used as the 3rd drive for "Flash Sidecar HD", so I'm assuming the partition is still hidden somewhere on "HD.2 WDe 2T"
2. "HD.2 WDe 2T" doesn't show as "Disk to Add:"
Hopefully that clarifies the problem.
