I have been running my Apple M1 pro with no issues on my Thunderbay 4 for 6 months, version 6.2.1. Randomly when turned on now computer crashes. I upgraded Apple OS to 12.3.1 and still same thing. Apparently I need to change to 64 striping? I have no idea what this is or how to do it. This OWC TB 4 was recently purchased...I better not have to shell out more money to make this work. Any help is appreciated.

First, make sure it is the M1 bug. "report to apple" after a crash. Look at the top line in the panic Log. Does it show DART in the top of the panic log?
If so, this is the same M1 panic, which can be avoided by changing to 64k Stripe unit size. But you need to delete the volume and create it again, selecting 64k when prompted.
You can generally also avoid it by plugging in your enclosure 5 minutes after startup.
