Whenever I launch SoftRAID I get a message box that says "SoftRAID 6.1 wants to make changes." It prompts for my system User Name and Password. I fill in the password and click OK, and I'm in. But only for that session; if I quit SoftRAID and start it again I have to go through that dialog again.
Running SoftRAID 6.1, Driver v 6.1. macOS Big Sur, 11.6.

If this is an intel machine, try pasting these two lines into the terminal.app and restarting.
sudo kmutil clear-staging
sudo kextcache -i /
this will clear the staged extensions cache, which is probably loading the older driver at startup.
