I have two Thunderbay OWC enclosures using Softraid connected to a 2014 iMac. I now want to replace the iMac with a newer MacBook Pro. Is it as simple as installing Softraid on the new MacBook and then plugging in the drives? Or do I need to do more to transfer/access/use the drives on the new computer? Thanks.

Yes it is as simple as moving htem over. You want to install SoftRAID 7.6 so you can manage them, but your volume will mount immediately.
