OWC ThunderBay 4 on SoftRAID 7.6.1

It says in the manual: 

For both OWC and third-party enclosure support, you will need Soft- RAID Pro or Lite.

Why am I getting dialogs popping up to tell me to update to 7.6.1 then, since I'm using SoftRAID 7.0?  If I own the unit, how do I not get the proper drivers for it?

Can anybody explain how I get the latest? I don't want to ruin my data.

I'm sorry?  What's a tech support file?  I just want to know how to upgrade.  I'm seeing conflicting versions for my RAID.

Update: I have to purchase 7.5.1 for a new license, and that isn't working either.

What MacOS version are you running that you want 7.5.1?

Sonoma.  I just want a version that works.  It was the most recent, as is my OS.

You mean 7.6.1 then.

Attach a SoftRAID support file, I can check out what the issue might be.

How do I get that?  The app quits and gives me this dialog box.  Again, I've purchased a new license and it isn't sticking for some reason.

If you click OK, you can still save a support file and attach it.

The new license went through.  It's currently registered, but the app won't open.

You are getting "a part of the SoftRAID Monitor failed"?

If yes, then if you go to /Library/Application Support/SoftRAID, and first double click on SoftRAID Monitor, does the app now launch?
