OK it says that the Standard license is free, yet I just purchased a license around a month ago.

Both are true. Standard is very limited however, but reassures users who only want bare bones functionality, that their volume will continue to mount,etc.
Log into your account. It should show your active license:

You will have an active "Premium" license/support. Our goal is to make you happy with it, and our support, so you continue to subscribe.
Any licernse which is "active" (has not expired) is Premium.
A Standard license has never been purhased, is free and SoftRAID says "standard" ini the bottom of the application.
A "Premium expired" license means that you had a active subscription, but it expired. Only Standard features are available.
If SoftRAID says "nothing" in the bottom left of the main window, you have an active Premium license.
If you get "about SoftRAID" that will tell you, as will if you click on the Monitor and look at the pulldown.

OK I found the new serial number. Somehow the old one was sent to me during the last purchase, something like that. That's why it wasn't registering properly. Cheers
Sorry for the confusion. We are trying now to keep users with the same license through upgrades, etc for easier management.
I have another question for another thread. It's based on previous/current confusion as well.
