Investigating Problems with Disks

I've successfully erased and formatted 2 disks via SoftRAID, but when I run macOS 11.4 Disk Utility to erase/format APFS I get failures on both of -69888.
Can you give me any idea where the problem is?

This one is easy. it is a Disk Utility bug, it cannot work with SoftRAID formatted disks. Run SoftRAID and "zero disk" and select 100 sectors. Then it will look like a brand new disk to Disk Utility.
