I've recently upgraded to 6.0.3, but now my RAID volume only mounts with a restart. I've tried mounting from SoftRAID but it fails in under 10 seconds. I've recently completed a full validation of the volume, and it shows no errors. In Disk Utility it only shows the drives and not the RAID volume; is that normal?

this may fix this. Big Sur did not update the extensions cache.
Run the terminal app and paste these two command in:
sudo kmutil clear-staging
followed by:
sudo kextcache -i /

restart. see if this fixes it.

I am happy to report the latest Apple 11.3.1 update has fixed the issue on its own. 😎Â
