I have an almost brand new thunderbay 20 tb set up in raid 5. It has worked great for 30 days and now it wont mount. It's telling me there are "no errors" on the drives but it just wont mount. I have the latest soft raid software 5.6.1. Thank you for your help!

Hi, did you get it resolved? Just had the same thing happen with a 24GB RAID5. Suddenly won't mount. All disks are fine. I happened to just hit the 30 day mark, but I assumed that just meant the admin software. Maybe the drive stops mounting (without explanation) unless we pay? It would be fine but I don't want to buy it if this stuff is just buggy and I need to get an RMA on the chases I use bought. Thanks,

Jeff

SoftRAID will never intentionally make your volume unmountable because of an expiring license. ever.

I believe this is volume damage. Can you send us a support file, so we can look at this? (support at softraid)

Disk Warrior is always your friend when volumes cannot mount because of directory damage.

When did your volume stop mounting? After a restart? (because of an OS X update?)

We think there may be a bug in OS X that does not let drives flush their cache at shutdown/restarts, perhaps during update periods. This almost always occurs with systems that have SSD boot drives, which are now the norm.
