i have the latest soft raid software. It worked fine for a month and now all of a sudden it will not mount. please help.

Whenever a volume cannot mount in Finder, if all the links to disks are working OK, then it is most likely to be a directory problem. Disk Warrior is your friend in these cases, it can repair directories and get your volume mounting again.
We hope there will be less instances of this in mac OS, when Apple releases the APFS file system.
