I am so happy about dose guys who are succeeded on this matter. I am not that lucky. I have tried everything. System Preferences, Security relaunch, beta 6.2, Terminal..... So far I have a brand new M1 mini and 10TB useless raid.

@zoli

Lets fix this.

From your description, you have:

implemented "third party developers" on the M1?

Were you able to "Allow" OWC as an identified developer?

And the volume does not mount?

If you paste this into the terminal, what is the error you get:

sudo kmutil load -p /Library/Extensions/SoftRAID.kext

Can you attach a SoftRAID support file, so I can check if the driver is loading, etc.

3th party... That was the message in my first attempt to try to load the raid.

OWC was at the Security & privacy (since I have clicked on, does not show up any more)

Mount does not show up. Have tired the terminal too......

This time I have running on 6.2 b3

Attach a SoftRAID tech support file now.

When was the last time this volume mounted?

the volume header is wiped out, which is why it is not mounting. SoftRAID cannot make a mountable volume out of it.

the volume is there, but without the header (like the map to files), macOS does not know what to do with it and neither does SoftRAID.

Is the data on this volume backed up?

Yes, but the raids are working just fine in my MacPro Os Catalina. What can I do?

@zoli

Can you send me a support file from the Mac Pro?

It may help me understand. I have a quick guess, though.

Let me get back to you probably tomorrow. I am not clear what is going on yet. I need to investigate.

Did you able to investigate further my case, please?

I am still trying to figure this out. I do not have access to engineering to help investigate at present, so I need to figure it out myself, but there is nothing obvious to me.

I was using 6.1 b18 but then it said there was an update for the software and showed 6.1 so i assumed stable.

Currently using 6.1, MacOS Big Sur 11.6. Mac Pro (Intel) 7,1 with plenty of ram.

I have two ThunderFlex 8 raids. If I restart my mac, I get the folder with the question marek in the middle. If I unplug both raids, it restarts without issue. I know this was an issue before but thought it was resolved with the beta, perhaps I downloaded the wrong one? It literally only happens if your raids are plugged inn. My Promise Pegasus3 raid, no issues, other raids, no issues. Thunderflex 8.. major issue. I have tried them one at a time, same thing.

So i guess my question is.. when might this be fixed?

thx guys
