Hi there,
I've never been able to see the status of my RAID on the Mac Menu bar monitor icon.
SoftRAID monitor is running and working correctly, and the main app is seeing and correctlyΒ recognizingΒ both my RAID.
Is there something I'm doing wrong that keeps it from turning blue?Β

Do you have your system set to graphite? (dark mode / gray accent?)
We had many user requests to make the Monitor icon gray. that is why you see this.

Sorry I had to take this to the forums to find out. I would update the Softraid manual to document this behavior on MacOS. Β It is definitely nifty, but color in the menu bar is non-standard behavior according to the Apple HIG, so it's hard to know what the expected behavior is.Β

The days when Apple itself strictly follows HIG sailed long ago. We do the best we can.
