Hi
it is a very basic question. I have license to Softraid lite and use it on rotating disks. Now I just want to know if I can use it to make a striped raid0 using 2 Samsung 970 EVO, sitting on a PCIe card?

Yes, you can create as many RAID 0 and RAID 1 volumes you want, on your computer.

Super, then I can save the"upgrade charge" and spend it on M.2 blades instead :-)

Something has gone a bit haywire for me. I had the SoftRAID Lite installed with license, then I used the trial of the full Softraid, also ok, but when I wanted to go back to the lite version something happened. In the end I deleted the packages for the 2 versions and downloaded the Lite version, entered the license code, and began to use it. No problem there... except when I click on 'Softraid' to get the dropdown menu I get the info that I may purchase SoftRAID Lite / upgrade / enter license number. AND when I click 'about' I get the expected status.
I like things neat, so what is up here?

I am not sure you described the problem, as there is nothing in what you wrote that is an issue.

BTW: you do not even need to reinstall the driver to go from SoftRAID to Lite, just enter your password and SoftRAID will make the minor change to make the switch. the driver remains the same.
