Hi All:
I have 2 10 TB drives in an enclosure one is full the other is empty. Right now they are just two soft raid volumes. I would like to create a mirror volume.
Is there a way I can have SOFTraid take the empty disk and turn it into the mirror for the near full disk?
I would like to avoid buying another 10TB drive just to clone to and then clone onto the new mirror volume made from the original two disks.

Easy!
Initialize disk 2
Click on volume for Disk 1.
"Convert" and select mirror, select the disk and rebuild.
No risk to data, you can use the volume while it rebuilds
