I recently purchased a G Technology G Raid Drive that is configurable in Raid 1 format. However, I am having difficulty creating the Raid Mirrored Volumes. I can see the G Raid Disk in the Softraid software. Can you provide technical support on how to Split the G Raid Disk into two separate disks that can then be mirrored?

The G-Tech hardware has a serious limitation. They are permanently hard wired to be striped or mirrored.
It is not possible for SoftRAID (Or OS X) to see the disks inside the enclosure. So you cannot separate them, G-Tech does not allow this. If you call them, G-Tech will confirm this limitation.
