I converted my TM to SoftRAID and now MacOS cannot use TM because the discs have become Read Only.
Mac OS Sierra 10.12.4 - TM is RAID 1
The OS sees TM but is unable to Write to it.
I am unable to change the Sharing & Permissions from Read Only to Read & Write - even tho' I am logged in as the Admin.
I also get an error meaaage on Boot that MacOS can't repair the disk "Time Machine"
Thanks in advance

The problem is the volume directory has become damaged. OS X could not auto-fix it, so the volume will either not mount, or mount read only.

There are two solutions:
erase volume (with SoftRAID) and start over on Time Machine
Disk Warrior to repair the directory.
