I tried in 6.3 and 7.5 each with their updated driver version.
I never had the option of adding OWC or anyone to the security pane.
The SoftRAID driver is not loading.
try this;
In terminal.app, paste this in and hit enter, you need your admin password
sudo softraidtool uninstall
restart and run SoftRAID. Do you get the option to "Allow" OWC in System Preferences?
If yes, "allow" and SoftRAID will load.
if no, run this command in terminal and lets see if there is any output.
xattr /Library/Extensions/SoftRAID.kext
Was given the option to allow in prefs.
Ran SoftRAID and installed drivers. Ver 6.3
Ran terminal command

Send a support file from SoftRAID. the last command shows the driver is not quarantined. Is your volume mounting?
All is good. There was no file system created, as the SoftRAID driver was not loading. Its simplest to delete the volume, create it again and it will work this time.
That worked. Thanks.
2LDR; If you have a fresh volume and it is not mounting, it may not have had drivers when created. Make sure drivers are installed and recreate volume.
