I purchased SoftRAID Lite 5.1.1 a couple of months ago and it was working fine for me. Yesterday I upgraded to 5.5 and while it worked after upgrading, today it will not boot! It will either get stuck on the apple logo, or go into an endless reboot cycle.
Note: I *did* upgrade the driver as well as the application.
Booting into Safe Mode works.
I did find a workaround that allows it to boot normally. I use Startup Manager by holding the Option key immediately after turning the computer on. I then select the main drive and it boots normally. However, if I restart or cold boot and let go on its own, it will not boot.
I am currently using an old Mac Pro running OS X 10.11.4. The boot drive is an SSD, and I have a pair of hard drives setup as RAID 0 for Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom caching.
Can you do two things:
Reinstall the SoftRAID driver on your boot volume. See if that fixes this.
If not, send me a SotRAID technical support file at support@softraid.com
I re-installed the driver but the behavior is the same. I just sent the support file via email.
Thanks,
-David

Can you send it again, to support@softraid.com?
OK, I just re-sent the file.
Thanks
Not seeing it yet in support email.
My emails must be getting dropped or placed in spam folder. I have sent a third time but from a different account.
