@softraid-support I just wiped my volume and created a new RAID5, formatted as encrypted APFS. Will let you know how my Carbon Copy Cloner backups go.

Just updated to SoftRAID 7.0.1, then upgraded to Monterey 12.6.2. Ran a Carbon Copy Cloner backup, attempted to eject my Thunderbay 4, hard freeze.

@softraid-support Still crashes on 12.5; I currently do not have SoftRAID installed on my new MBA, and I'm not sure I will due to instability.

@softraid-support I am curious if 12.5 has a fix in place?

Unmounting my Thunderbay 4 array resulted in a KP: panic(cpu 2 caller 0xfffffe002a577cc0): "cannot find xattr fext for 0" @hfs_readwrite.c:3867

@softraid-support I have no problem unmounting other volumes not using SoftRAID though?

@softraid-support Seems to be something else because I have disabled TM and it still gives the error when I unmount and disconnect the cable.

@softraid-support I think I will disable TM for now and see if I still see the notification.
