Is it possible to renew my SorftRAID 7 XT license after it has expired? What is the cost?
Also, I currently have 2 seats, but I would like to reduce it to 1 seat. What is the process and what would be the renewal fee for just 1 seat?

You can absolutely renew your license. An expired license does not "expire" (stop SoftRAID from working), what happens is you cannot upgrade SoftRAId any further and you cannot get technical support. But it will continue to work.

When you log in (or enter ytour license, upgrade options will be displayed. In your shopping cart, I believe you can remove the extra seat, if you cannot figure it out, post here.

I have been using v 7.6b30 and wish to purchase the upgrade from my XT 7 licence. However when I enter my serial number the only option I am given is to upgrade to SoftRAID 7 PRO which I have no need for. Could you please explain what the process is to upgrade to from XT 7 to XT 7.6.

Yes, there is. However, the price to "Renew" is the same price as a new outright purchase, ie USD $119.99. I would have expected that there would be a discounted price for existing customers as there is a USD $70.00 discount between the upgrade to the PRO version and an outright purchase. Can you confirm this is in fact correct?

the price is correct if your license support plan expired for a sufficiently long time.
We unfortunately needed to discourage users from not renewing, then renewing only when they had a technical support problem, or they "finally" upgraded to the next MacOS. Support plans are expected to be ongoing. We can sometimes help users who were not aware their support expired (older versions of SoftRAID). What is your license number? (It will not be posted publicly)

As you stated, I was unaware that my licence may have expired as I was running Sonoma beta and hence was using the beta releases which is due to expire next week so I need to upgrade.

@softraid-support I have the same issue, I totally forgot about the renewal and thought it would be automatic. Mine expired July 21, 2023. Website is saying it'll be $250 to repurchase! That's a lot. I have the full version of SoftRAID and I'd like to renew the upgrade and support plan, as I intended to do so when it expired in July but I just remembered today.
Looks like you renewed earlier today for $99. So you should be OK.
