How to delete V8 Driver_Activation never takes for 7.6.1 - MAC 14.6 OS

Hello

My machine has v8 driver installed but I want nothing to do with it and simply want my 7.6.1 activation and program.  However, when I follow the posted uninstall method on the site and even delete the app icon from applications, it never removes the driver.  What this means is, when I activate the copy with a free license, it never takes and just sits in Trial mode.  Anyone ever dealt with this or know where I can delete the V8.0 driver from?  I'm not interested in upgrading to V8 and find the pricing to value is absurdly high and just want what I had, but it never goes out of 14 trial mode.

You are running Sonoma, so the SoftRAID 8 driver always loads. It cannot ever be altered or deleted.

What you can do, is run 7.6.1. Yes the 8.0 driver will still be the active SoftRAID driver, but that is not a problem.

You can use 7.6.1 all the way until you upgrade to Sequoia, which will require SoftRAID 8.1

@softraid-support Thank you.  Question.  Why is Softraid not activating completely, then and staying in Trial Mode for 14 days, even though/after I have entered a license/serial and it said activated in the pop up after submitting?

SoftRAID does not have your license. If you enter it again, the trial messages disappear?

when do they come back? after a restart?

I think I see the issue. Your purchase is marked as "failed" can you check your credit card and make sure the charge went through?

Assuming it did, I will need help in fixing this, but if it did not, you can "repurchase".

@softraid-support What are you talking about?  My purchase hasn't failed in any way and I have invoices to back it up.  This is the kind of weird response and help I've gotten from OWC in the past and is exactly why I won't go to 8 with the price you want to charge, and if I did upgrade, you'd hold my files hostage.  From Softraid unregistering itself and not taking the same serial to bugs.  And now... you are saying a purchase I made last year that was and is valid... isn't.  WTF?  I mean look at all of the versions I've bought too boot.   I understand you're trying to simply be helpful, but  this is frustrating

Look for a charge on June 15, 2024.

Is there a charge on your credit card?

this renewal is showing as "failed". I cannot tell if the charge went through, so am asking you.
