OWC still has telephone support, but your case is being handled by the top support engineer, which is email only. Your problem is pretty much one of a kind, which is why we need to be able to reproduce it to be able to figure out what is happening and fix it.
We are trying as best we can.
And I will be eternally grateful when you fix it. I thank you for doing this. I am very curious what the issue turns out to be.
Just to let everyone know my subscription still won’t activate after all these months. The issue was never fixed. Now my subscription is up in 2 days. If I renew it I still won’t be able to activate Softraid. I have no idea what to do. I just get the run around by getting emails back and forth constantly where my questions are never answered. They just ask new questions without answering my questions.
I think I found a way to show you the problem.
Run this command in terminal.app, then attempt to activate your license. Save the file as a txt file so you can post it here.
(paste it into "Text Edit", then (important!), "Make Plain Text" in Format menu. Attach it below...
log stream --predicate 'process == "SoftRAID" OR process == "trustd" OR process == "tccd" OR process == "amfid"' --level debug

Ignore my last attempt at posting. Too much info. Here is the file you asked for.
- Do you have a Pi-hole, pfSense, AdGuard Home, or any similar network-level filter on your network?
- In the terminal.app, run:
systemextensionsctl list - Save this as a text file as before, so we can check if there isanything active you may have forgotten about. - Also in terminal:
profiles list- Save this as a text file also.
Attach the two files. I think we can track down the root cause of this soon.
