i've just bought a Thunderbay 4 that i need to run for backuping online on an older machine running on OS10.12. The OS can't be upgraded.
Softraid 8 won't run on this OS. It seems that Softraid 7.5 would. The reseller told me that my softraid 8 license would work on previous Softraid versions. Apparently not.
Is it possible to buy a license for Softraid 7 XT?

What is your license number? I may need you to get an account at the software store, but can get you a 7.x license with the same subscription period as your 8.x license (and be freely upgradeable during the same period of time). that seems the best solution...
