Not sure if this is the right place to post this ...

I'll soon be getting a Studio Mac. Currently, I have a ThunderBay 4 configured as a RAID connected to an older 5k Retina iMac. When I connect the ThunderBay to the new Studio Mac, will I have to reinstall the SoftRaid driver sinceI'm switching from Intel to Apple processors? Or will I have to reconfigure the entire RAID?

Thanks

Your volume is OK to move over.

However, first you must do this:

https://support.apple.com/en-lk/guide/mac-help/mchl768f7291/mac
Select reduced security and enable this:
Select the “Allow user management of kernel extensions from identified developers” checkbox to allow installation of software that uses legacy kernel extensions.

Now you can install the SoftRAID driver.

After enabling third party extensions above, install the SoftRAID driver, (do not immediately restart) and go to System Preferences / Security to "Allow" OWC as an identified developer.

Click on "Not now" (restart later), quit System Preferences, and go to SoftRAID and restart.
