Hello I have a 4M2 with 3 2TB SSD, I got a 4th disk and I want to add that to the volume.
I can't find a way to do it, and some posts in the forum said different things so I need to confirm how to do this.
I'm running macOS 12.2.1 in a M1 Mac Mini. I have SoftRaid 6.2.1 thank you in advance

Only way is delete the volume and create a new one.

Are you for real? is that a bug?

I'm pretty sure that I have read in the website that you can add disks to a volume!

What if I need to replace a disk?

@facupuig

No, we cannot add a disk to a volume to increase its size. (i.e, make a 3 disk RAID 5 a 4 disk RAID 5)

You can replace disks, yes.

You may be thinking of Drobo, which lets you do "anything", but there is an added cost in stability.
