When I open my SoftRAID volume for the first time after booting up, it often takes up to ten seconds to display the volume contents. It's a 12 TB volume only about 35% full. SoftRAID does not report any issues.
My main concern is that this may be a sign of some impending issue. Anybody have any experience with something like this?

Maybe your disk is sleeping and has to wake up?
SoftRAID's UI is "real time", so it display's information as soon as it is all collected.
