I'm going to be that guy. macOS 26 has been available for maybe an hour at this point, so of course I'm going to rush to the forums and ask the question that I bet several of these other concurrent users are wondering...
Any ETA for the 8.6 release?
Thanks in advance, y'all are doing the lords work. :-)
September 16, tomorrow.
Awesome - thank you for getting this updated so quickly! It's vital for my editing drive!
Time after time, it seems that the dev organization cannot release stable software concurrently with OS update releases. How is it that almost every other dev org can do this and you guys cannot?
Maybe you should rethink your perspective?
SoftRAID holds peoples mission critical data, thousands of petabytes. And you want new versions of SoftRAID to be released for new MacOS versions, without at least a (re) review of the final release of MacOS to ensure no last minute issues?
Next day is not "adequate"?
Several times over the past 20 years, there were last minute changes to MacOS, after the final beta, that we had to make adjustments in SoftRAID for. Making our best efforts to protect user data is a higher priority than "being on time".
