Hi, quick update as I have seen yesterday night for the 1st time an automatic system restart several minutes after shutting down the Mac Studio (Ventura 13.0.1) with ONLY 2 external OWC 4BayTH2 enclosures connected and with the switch on ON) for a total number of 8 disks connected... so our prior assumption that the automatic system restart problem was triggered when more than 12 disk are connected is not correct.

Did you look at the crash log? that is the only way to know, if it has watchdog in the top lines, then it is the same issue, but could have been caused by something else timing out. Note that this bug is not limited to the number of disks, it is any time it takes too long to shut down, so if a disk takes too long to flush its cache, that can trigger this also.
