I have a 2012 Mac mini server that is about to die. It's running a SoftRAID with an enclosure I got from OWC.
I bought a Mac mini M1 (2022/23 model) running OS X Ventura.
Apple's Migration Manager is stalling (not a SoftRAID problem) so I'm debating moving data more manually.
Does my SoftRAID drive behave just like any other external storage? Or do I have to do something particular to move the drive from the old machine to new? (I'm just going to assume I won't be able to solve my Apple Migration manager problem).
Thanks!

Its easy. After your new Mac is set up, just run SoftRAID to install. Then plug in your drives.
