I am on an Apple Studio running the Ventura public beta, and an OWC Thunderbay mini (Thunderbolt 2) using the SoftRAID 6.2 driver. Other than multiple unexpected drive disconnects in the array (the old Thunderbolt issue in spades?), it is apparently working normally. The SoftRAID 6.2 app would not run, so I attempted to install the SoftRAID 6.3 b20 app. The installation gets to the point of installing the 6.3 driver but, never completes.
I would have included the diagnostic files, but both versions of the app want to install a helper or driver, so I am hung in the middle.

Use sudo:
sudo softraidtool generatereport ~/Desktop/joemikeb.07.15.22.sr_supt
This will create a file on the desktop. I don't want the terminal output, just the file. thanks!

This is very weird. The SoftRAID driver is loaded. When was the last time this volume mounted?
Does it mount on your other computer?

Yes the 6.2.1 drivers are mounted, at least according to

I traded my other computer, an M1 Mac mini, for the current M1 Max Studio. The array has always mounted correctly on this computer, but since installing Ventura, I am seeing frequent unexpected drive dismounts and drive sync errors in the array (the old Thunderbolt issue in spades?). I am attempting to install the 6.3 drivers to see if they solve the disconnect issue. But when I launch SoftRAID 6.3 b20, and it attempts to install the driver, the process reliably hangs. Eventually, I have to force quit. Otherwise, the array is functioning normally.
I believe I still have the Terminal commands to clear out all the various cache files and drivers, but I have been reluctant to do that in case it didn't work and I couldn't reinstall 6.2.1 drivers.

More Information:
When 6.3 b20 is attempting to install, the activity bar is running, but in Activity monitor the softRAID items all appear to be static. I launched SoftRAID 6.2.1, with the idea of uninstalling the 6.2.1 driver and, although the app installed its helper, display is blank and all the menu options are greyed out. (See the attached screenshot.)

Finally, an issue that can be replicated by someone else! 😜 But, which issue have you seen in house: the blank Window and greyed out menus, the driver installation hang, or the frequent drive disconnects? For what it is worth, my system has inexplicably gone over 24 hours without a drive disconnect. 🤷♂️

@joemikeb Blank window, driver failed dialog and SoftRAID monitor failed dialog boxes.
The install hang, I have seen, but not reproduced.
DIsk Ejects are not new to ventura.
I can reproduce the install hang at any time. I have searched the various log files, and did not find any mention of SoftRAID or any other indication of the installer hang. I would be glad to provide any information about my system configuration or log files if it would help isolate the problem.
