I got the alert to upgrade to 6.3 today, so I went ahead and did it.
Once complete my iMac would not boot unless in safe mode.
I think what may have happened is that the developer approval may have failed.
So my question is how can i reinstall (or remove) the 6.3 driver if I cannot start SoftRAID app in safe mode?

I think this will still work in safe mode. Run the terminal and enter this:
sudo softraidtool uninstall
restart
