I have Raid-5 array in a PROBOX that works perfectly in SoftRaid 5 on an older Catalina system. Softraid insists that I buy a paid upgrade for Soft Raid 6 to work on the M1 MAc mini. I have installed it. It communicates with the PROBOX and sees non-raid drives. It sees the Raid-5 array also but it wontmount it. It mounts for a second and then just stays unmounted.
Did you do this?

Select reduced security and enable this:
Select the “Allow user management of kernel extensions from identified developers” checkbox to allow installation of software that uses legacy kernel extensions.
When you did the driver update, did you go to System Preferences / Security to "Allow" OWC as an identified developer?
After enabling third party extensions, reinstall the SoftRAID driver, and go to System Preferences / Security to "Allow" OWC as an identified developer
This worked!!
Thank you!
