Greetings. I had a power issue with one of my drives and it lost sync with the others. But now SoftRAID won't mount it to start the rebuild. Any ideas?

Running 5.8.4 in Mojave on a mac pro. I've added an old tech support file (I always generate them having had my entire hd systems saved for doing so in another issue sevearl years ago) and the current one.

The volume structure is OK, the directory needs repair. Do you have access to Disk Warrior?

If MacOS cannot repair it, then the volume is locked to protect the data. You will have to restore from current backup. (or use Disk Warrior to repair the volume.)

There are no other options as far as I know.

@softraid-support will using disk utilities to repair the volume possibly kill off the data since softRAID made the RAID, or is it safe to use? Or should I just jump into Disk Warrior?

@bojoey

Its unlikely "repair disk" in Disk Utility would damage anything, but neither is it likely to fix anything. You can try, but do not expect anything.
