I'm running a 2015 MBP Monterey (this is the only computer). I have version 6.2.1, I can see the files and copy but unable to create or move files. Softraid log shows drivers are loaded, SMART is on and I checked security preferences all good. From I have seen on the boards I have to copy everything off my Raid 1+0 and reformat again??? I hope not, any help appreciated.

Yes, the directory is damaged. There are two choices, backup/restore, or repair. Disk Warrior  is the only repair took that can repair your volume, but it is limited to Big Sur.

So restore is your best option.

Ok so if I backup everything, would I then go to Volume delete or erase and then create my new volume? Just so I'm clear on doing it right the first time. Then the message would disappear from macOS. Thanks

@dra2000

Simplest is backup, then "erase" the volume with SoftRAID. Then copy back.

Carbon Copy Cloner is a good tool to help you do the copying. Its very fast.
