I'm trying to create a RAID 1 from two USB 3 drives. One drive has data on it and the second is empty. I've backed up the main drive. When I try to create the new volume it says there is only 18.7MB available. The main drive has about 1.64TB available. In face all of my drives only show 18.7 or 18.6MB as the largest free block. I've attached a screen shot, the two bottom drives FON Main and FON Main - Mirror are the two that I'm trying to create the new RAID 1 volume out of.
Not sure how to resolve this.

Delete the volume on the disk that will be the secondary. A mirror is not a synch of two volumes, a Mirror is a single volume comprised of two or more disks.
Once you delete the unnecessary volume, then you should be able to convert to mirror.
