got softraid lite when i upgraded my iMac to El Capitain - built a RAIDed pair with it that is nearly full - no problem for months - then Softraid lite saw that a drive was degraded and in danger of failing soon - BUT It was neither of these drives - but the 3 tb fusion boot drive in my i Mac,- so i backed up the hard drive with time machine on an external drive - sent my computer in for repair - they replaced the drive AND the logic board and i reinstalled all the data from time machine - same OS - 10.11.6 -- BUT then - the one pair that i built with softraid lite is showing up as two separate drives - with both drives showing the exact same number of bytes used -- and this morning, the number is different: 3,933,675,208,704 bytes (3.93 TB on disk) compared to 3,933,675,225,088 bytes (3.93 TB on disk)
AND the softraid lite logo on the desktop says "limited" by each drive when they mount to the desktop... so clearly the RAID has failed and is in some kind of danger. How do i safely rebuild this RAID - and when i upgrade to Sierra OS ( 10.12 which now supports RAID 1 again - will the new OS recognize the RAID i build with SoftRaid lite?
Could use some advice and a best practices procedure for it. I DO like the fact that SOFTRAID lite monitored all the drives both internal and peripheral - which help me save my iMac from disaster - but i'm confused as too the best way to fix this

Two things happened:
When you updated the computer, Apple reinstalled the OS, which removed the SoftRAID Lite driver. (and you only have the default driver installed)

You need to re-install the SoftRAID Lite driver and enter your license. That gets rid of problem 1, the ! icons.

Problem 2 was, in part, because of this the volume split (failed over), and you have two volumes now.

Pick a volume that you consider "gold master". Delete the other volume. Then "add secondary disk" and let it rebuild.

Depending on which volume you delete, you may have one additional step of "remove missing secondary disks", which will reset the counter.
