@softraid-support yes, it could be the age of the MacOS and safari versions are being problematic with newer websites. Filetransfer doesn't like the .sr_supt files nor compressed files from the older OS / safari. I can't recall if I've tried upload from my newer laptop, but will try to upload from there.
this should contain the various different .sr_supt files.
First, drives literally not showing up is a hardware. While I did not need all those support files, the drives are showing up in each.
You said the drives do not show up at all?
Yes, within the interface of SoftRaid, it shows no drives. At present, without the rj45 --> usb-a cable attached nor the usb-a charging cable for apple's keyboard (or trackpad), SoftRaid shows no drives.
Additionally every time this host reboots (which is as rare as I can make it) I will get the message about no longer having support for my software with the 'check here to never see this message again' {which I get every time}. It appears the softraid monitor icon shows in the menu bar, but orange not green.
I have been able to on very rare moments get the SoftRaid interface to show the drives, but as you can see from the length of time this thread has been live, it almost never works as it should.
so if I understand what you're saying in your above reply is that the support output shows that the software is seeing and reporting on the health of the drives? to confirm from my end, the software is not showing that. Only one of those sr_supt files was when the software did show the drives and the health of the raids.
and the drives/raid arrays show up on the machine and work as they should, it is more that the software itself is unable to display the drives and arrays.
Let me clarify, as something else could be going on. Are ANY drives showing up in SoftRAID? (like the internal), i.e, is there a blank window?
@softraid-support blank window, nothing at all showing. I've attached screen shots previously in this thread.
If the app main window is completely blank, then a process is hanging. Make sure the SoftRAID Monitor is launching (menu bar). If you launch with no drives connected, what does the app show?
Just so you know we are repeating previous trouble shooting steps that take place earlier in this thread. When I have an opportunity to remove drives and test again I'll do so, but this is a working server and does need to be online as much as possible.
